We have over 20 years of experience in the general contracting industry, and we have been working with Tribal Housing and Development since 2010. We specialize in a wide variety of general contracting and project management services with LIHTC projects, including custom home building, renovations, remodeling, decks, garages, roofing, and more. We offer FREE estimates and a 1-year labor warranty. We pride ourselves on promoting communities economically by hiring skilled members of each community to work on their own projects!
A Native-owned company, Black Wolf Construction was first established in 2010. The members of our team have over 18 years of industry experience that you can always rely on to come through for you. We're highly respected, known for our quality work, and have successfully completed multi-million dollar projects in various Indian locations throughout the U.S.
Black Wolf Construction started as, and remains to this day, a family business. The company was established by co-owners and brothers-in-law Doug Anderson and Hans Dahl (Doug is a member of the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians). The business began with the intent of helping local tribal communities with workforce development by providing the members of those communities with work through various LIHTC projects. We've been successful in that mission and continue to provide work opportunities to tribal members all over the country.
For the past five years (2015 - 2019), we've been proud sponsors of the Annual Travois Indian Country Affordable Housing & Economic Development Conference. This educational conference provides detailed instructions to Native communities regarding the financing and developing of rental and for-sale affordable housing, the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program, economic development, the New Markets Tax Credit Program, and much more.
